Motorcycle Riding

Ride the Blue Ridge

The area around the Inn offers some of the best motorcycle riding routes in Virginia.  Whether it’s adventure dual sport type riding, leisure cruising, or peg dragging twisties this area has it all.  Most people are familiar with a few of the main routes bikers take when staying at the Inn (ie. Paint Bank, Blue Ridge Parkway).  However, we’ve provided a few routes below included in the map that riders may not know about.  The routes are tagged according to asphalt to dirt ratio in percentages.  Keep in mind one particular route is pretty rough and tumble with a number of switchbacks straight up the mountain.

You can pretty much sneak in a weekend of riding at any time of year just keep a keen eye on weather. Warm days in the winter can be great weekend getaways to take in some scenery and riding, then enjoy a night in our outdoor hot tub and knock off the rust for upcoming spring and summer.

So check out the below map and remember these are just a few select routes one could literally ride all day within a small circle of the Inn, the possibilities are endless.

If you have any questions about the area or riding feel free to contact Wattstull Inn here.
